2013 Deutsche Bank Practical Work Experience Program

Corporate Banking & Securities (CB&S)
Corporate Banking & Securities (CB&S) consists of Markets and Corporate Finance. Markets combines the sales, trading and structuring of a wide range of financial market products, including bonds, equities and equity-linked products, exchange –traded and over-the-counter derivatives, foreign exchange, money market instruments, securitized instruments and commodities. Corporate Finance is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, including advisory, debt and equity issuance, and capital markets coverage of large and medium-sized corporations. Regional and industry-focused teams ensure the delivery of the entire range of financial products and services.
Trading (Rate and GFFX)
1) Rates provides a comprehensive range of fixed income securities and OTC derivatives including Government, Agency and Mortgage Backed Securities and a full range of vanilla and exotic interest rate, fund and inflation derivative products. Our Rates business is also a market leader in cross-product integration allowing us to offer products that couple interest rate risk with access to equity, FX, commodity, credit and alternative asset classes
2) Foreign Exchange is an industry recognised world leader in all aspects of the foreign exchange business from the standard spot markets to the exotics, from vanilla options to complex structures, from electronic trading to prime brokerage.
● Job Requirement
ㅇ Qualifications
- A undergraduate student or A student on a leave of absence (학부 재학/휴학생)
- Interest/knowledge in fixed income industry and/or investment bank’s trading floor
- Good with numbers and strong excel skills preferred
- Can work under pressure/stress and on a loud trading floor
- Strong communication skills with fluent in English
- Good sense of humor, strong interpersonal skills

o Trade confirmation check
o Deal log
o News clipping
- We can assign 1-2 term project; some possibilities would be
o Build excel sheet that shows client trade MTM value in real time
o Developing Revenue Credit Calculation sheet
o Other markets analysis
