Job Title: Fixed Income Portfolio Specialist

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
-The role of a Fixed Income Portfolio Specialist requires demonstrated skills or knowledge of portfolio and market analysis in combination with a passion for fixed income investing.
-This individual will work closely with the Investment Director in Fixed Income Product Management in Hong Kong as well as other professionals at the firm on marketing, product development, product integrity, and servicing of existing clients in one or more of our fixed income investment approaches.
-Responsibilities include portfolio and market analysis, interpreting attribution, and explaining portfolio positioning and outlook.
-The individual will prepare analysis and materials for meetings with clients, prospects, and consultants and will respond to product and market related questions.
-Additional duties and projects may include market analysis, competitor analysis, review of RFPs, and creation and maintenance of marketing materials.
Qualifications :
-the analytical skills and ability to organize and interpret investment data to reach conclusions as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
-A positive, collegial attitude and high level of professionalism are essential, as is initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
-Candidates must be fluent in English.
-the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• 5 years industry experience, preferably in a relevant capacity
• Strong knowledge of fixed income markets
• Strong academic track record and demonstrated quantitative and numerical analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Creativity, thoroughness, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
• MBA and/or CFA is desirable
• Fluency in Korean and/or Mandarin desirable
