AIG 2013 Internship Program: Commercial Underwriting, Seoul
Position Description
Joining a summer internship program with AIG is a great way to enhance your business acumen and gain insight into our industry. As an Intern, you will work closely with mentors and colleagues, as you are challenged with meaningful, business-critical projects. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, you will also be exposed to other business areas within AIG to gain a broader knowledge of what we do. Performance management is an integral part of the program and strong interns will be offered a full-time position in our Fulltime Analyst Program upon graduation.
During the internship, you will work within Commercial or Consumer Underwriting where you will help set the bar for the rest of the Property-Casualty insurance industry. Our underwriters develop insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, and embody AIG’s tradition of innovation, bringing to market groundbreaking insurance solutions for our changing world. Our underwriters help find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas, including: aviation, “green” risks, catastrophic events, high net worth individuals and boardroom liabilities.
Position Requirements
- Minimum grade point average of 3.2
- Graduation date between December 2013 – June 2014
- Pursuant of a bachelor’s or 5th year master’s degree (학사 이상)
- Korean language skills
- Availability to commit 10 weeks between June to August 2013
