Job Title [Societe Generale]
“Trainee” for Global Markets Division (“MARK”) department: 6 months program at the minimum in SG CIB Seoul Office. Job will commence as soon as the successful candidate is identified.

SG in Korea
SG opened a branch in 1983 through which it offers a full range of debt, advisory and corporate banking services. Dealing with the top local companies, its primary focus is structured financing, as well as market operations - Foreign Exchange or interest rates.
Principal assignment or reason for existence
l As a Trainee of FIC Sales team, book deals against financial institution clients mainly Bank and Local securities through internal programs and send confirmation to client, B/O, M/O while checking delivery lines or counterparty limit usage.
l Support Senior Sales by researching and preparing reports for clients/internal use.
[Main responsabilites ]
l Input deals
1. Book deals done by Senior Sales, checking any discrepancies between system and the details with client.
2. Solve booking problems with B/O, M/O.
3. Eyeing on whether the limit is sufficient for the counterparty, keep the evidence.
4. Check and clarify discrepancy of position and P/L with trader and M/O.
l Support the client relationship
1. Send deal details to client via confirmation.
2. Develop sales and marketing material with Senior Sales supervision and guidance.
3. Assist Senior Sales in client meetings and marketing.
l Assist Development of Marketing/Sales
1. Prepare periodical reports to update the recap, market alterations.
2. Keep up with miscellaneous market issues.
3. Provide support for execution of concluded deals.
l Global FX daily recap / Korea Market daily recap(USDKRW spot/swap/CRS, KRW IRS) / Monthly recap
l Monitoring Insurance data (Korean paper, structured Notes, DLS)
l Gathering calculation of CVA cost, CVaR limit consumption each traded deals(for keeping calculation results)
l Recording Blotter(details of traded deals and lost deals)
l Other administrative tasks

l Deletion of deals with approval, book or amend deals.

Requirement (Qualification/ Years of Experience/ Skill / Knowledge)
- Detail-oriented and diligent person
- Able to work under pressure
- Excellent Command of both Korean & English, written & spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel
- Major in Finance or Economics preferred
