Location : Seoul, Korea

Contract type : 2-year temporary contract during the program. Based on satisfactory performance at   the end of program, you will be offered a position on permanent basis.

Program Structure

1. Front Office Graduate Program (Global Markets). 

You will be part of the Global Markets group which brings together the Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team.

You will take on four six-month rotations amongst the following teams.

• The first rotation: FICC (Fixed Income & Currencies) Sales team  : Corp
• The second rotation: FICC (Fixed Income & Currencies) sales team : FI team
• The third rotation: Equities Sales team
• The fourth rotation: Cross asset Sales team

2. Front Office Graduate Program (Global Banking and Advisory)

You will join the Global Banking and Advisory teams (but not limited to):

• Support senior bankers in marketing and sales activities towards corporate clients
• Assist with ad-hoc requests from overseas client coverage teams and product teams globally
• Meet client requests (market analyses, data collection, internal coordination)
• Conduct regular client monitoring for any potential risk factors and performance analyses
• Prepare internal memos (e.g. pipeline reports, client/internal call memos, ESG reviews strategy/action plan memos) for reporting to the management of SG Korea and regional office
• Perform client due diligence in line with internal compliance and regulatory procedures
• Manage accounts onboarding process in compliance with Know Your Client (“KYC”)

Your Profile

1. Front Office Graduate Program (Global Markets). 

We are looking for exceptional university graduates with the following attributes and competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited university with excellent academic results
• Fresh graduates or those who will graduate in February 2023
• Passionate for a long-term career development in the banking industry
• Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills

• Good commercial acumen
• Superior analytical, critical-thinking and communications skills
• Self-motivated, mature, and possessing a strong drive for excellence
• Open to different ideas and cultures and enjoy being part of a team
• Ability to solve problems and propose new ideas
• Good coding skills (for example VBA and/or Python) is a plus
• Excellent command of English

2. Front Office Graduate Program (Global Banking and Advisory)

Final year students or recent graduates of Bachelor or Master degree from any disciplines with excellent academic results and the following qualities:

• Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills

• Good commercial acumen
• Superior analytical, critical-thinking and effective communications skills
• Self-motivated, mature, and possessing a strong drive for excellence
• Open to different ideas and cultures and enjoy being part of a team
• Committed to developing a long-term career in the banking industry
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Korean
• Proficiency in MS Office applications

Application Timeline and Process

• October 24 ~ November 20:  An online test to assess behavioral/reasoning/language skills of candidates. Candidates will need to complete the test within 72 hours upon receiving the test link.

• November 21 ~ 2 December: Hiring manager and HR round interviews the shortlisted candidates.

• Mid-December : The final candidate to be announced.
• Late -December 2022: The successful candidate will be on-boarded.
