Position: Intern in ING Bank N.V., Seoul Branch
Dept/Function: Financial Markets
Internship Period: 3 months or 6 months (Starting from Feb 2019)

Department overview
We have an internship opening in the following department.
Financial Markets is the trading and sales of financial markets products in global
markets and the provision of these products and services to ING clients. Trading
and Sales supports its diverse clients with derivatives solutions to support their
cash, balance sheet management and hedging requirements by providing FX, FX
Swaps, NDFs, linear interest rate derivatives including bonds.
Business Management role within Financial Markets supports trading and sales of
Financial Markets with new product and business developments, implements and
monitors various controls, policies, regulations and laws as well as work closely with
country manager on various projects and strategic planning.
Duties and responsibilities
Support Line manager(s) with various admin and assignments
Monthly trade surveillance monitoring and reporting and KPI (key performance
indicator) updates
Enforcement and Monitoring of various controls for Financial Markets pursuant to
Product Control Framework (PCF) for FM and Global Trading and Sales Manual
Research and translation work for Financial Markets
Presentation materials and proposal paper work for internal stakeholders
Data research for economic indicators and industries of ING WB Korea clients
Ad-hoc admin and assignments
What are the skill and qualification requirements of the role?
Enrolled in a full time Bachelor's program (Business major preferred);
Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a good team player;
High level of self-motivation and result-oriented approach;
Basic understanding of accounting, financial statement analysis is preferred;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Powerpoint and Excel);
