The team employs a disciplined, research-driven approach to fundamental stock selection, while taking a multi-year approach to investing.

2. Job Title: Intern (Research Assistant / Junior Investment Analyst)

3. Placement and Duration:  8-10 week program from October to December.

4. Resposibilities
Security Analysis

•  Perform detailed research analysis
•  Monitor, gather, and analyze company, industry, country-specific data
•  Perform rigorous analysis of company financial statements, regulatory filings, and related materials
•  Build and maintain financial models
•  Develop industry knowledge and contacts
•  Deliver disciplined primary research
•  Provide research notes, news/earning updates, and summary of research/industry reports on timely basis
•  Discuss findings and conduct valuation analysis with senior analysts and portfolio manager
•  Submit idea memo on designated companies
•  Perform ad-hoc projects as needed
•  Contribute to overall investment process / procedures
•  Honor and follow guidelines for investment process / procedures
•  Bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude that will add to an already fun and team-oriented work environment

5. Qualification

• Bechelor's Degree or Candidate for Bechelor's Degree in 2016; MBA degree  or CPA plus but not required.
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills (Japanese and English language fluency required)
• Intellectually curious and passionate about investing/learning about companies
• Strong financial skills
