MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position involves the sales-trading of Fixed Income products to institutional clients, such as insurance companies, asset managers, pension funds and bank ALMs across the Asian Continent with a special focus on Japan, China, South-Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia & the Philippines.
You will work closely with stakeholders like Corporate Finance and Public Sector origination/execution and other Sales teams globally. The transactions range from standard flow (cash bonds and benchmark issues) to more complex non-flow investment solutions such as structured credits and off-the-run illiquid credits.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB
Experienced professional with an academic degree in the field of Finance, Economics or similar and/or CFA or equivalent (post) academics (Preferred)
3 years of relevant Financial Markets experience in institutional sales, with specific product or sector experience REQUIRED (insurance, asset managers, pension funds)
Solid knowledge of financial markets and related instruments/products is considered essential
Strong analytical skills
Ability to translate client challenges into product driven solutions
A proven track record of generating revenues with (European) Institutional clients (Required)
Language skills: native Mandarin and/or Japanese and/or Korean as well as fluent English
Entrepreneur, commercial drive and deal oriented
Self-starting, hands-on and pragmatic
Positive attitude and mind-set, genuine team player

- Preparing and executing commercial pitches, including client and prospect visits
- Following closely new regulatory developments and market opportunities
- Following closely changes and opportunities in global FX and Commodities markets that might affect your day to day trading flow
- Involving Research in your daily routine
- Providing compliance documents to the appropriate departments
