Background
Working Capital Solutions (WCS) originates, structures and manages working capital financing products offered by ING to corporate clients, including receivables and payables financing.
As part of the growth strategy of WCS, a team has been established in Singapore to support the Asian client base mainly in China, Taiwan and Korea. The team is looking for an enthusiastic WCS TMM Officer to perform Transaction Management & Monitoring (TMM) activities pertaining to the growing book of Asian WCS transactions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Active portfolio monitoring of live transactions, escalating trigger events in a timely manner and obtaining approvals for deviations.
- Reconciliations of receivables portfolio against incoming payment receipts
- Responsible for co-ordinating deal details including documentation negotiation and ensuring compliance with respect to Client Due Diligence, credit approval conditions pre-trade execution
- Assess and support credit analysis of corporate clients, providing clear rationale for support on transactions and management of the credit approval chain from start to end.
- Manage the entire line of working capital solutions products (facility activation, loan drawdown and settlement etc.) from end to end, ensuring smooth trade execution
- Conduct transaction due diligence / reviews to ensure information provided is in line with the bank’s understanding
- Other responsibilities includes supporting origination efforts of client coverage teams in Asia for e.g. preparation of marketing pitches / providing product related expertise
Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business) with at least 2 years of relevant Commercial Banking experience (trade / receivables financing would be a plus).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and good reasoning capability
- Experience with data analysis in Excel and proficient in MS office
- Good understanding of financial statements and ability to analyse product risk
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to add value to the team
- Positive working attitude with strong awareness to deliver within expected timelines.
- Strong spoken and written Korean / Mandarin skills are a plus as the role requires the candidate to support our existing client base in China, Taiwan and Korea.
