Objective of Role:
Support the Client Capital Group (“CCG”) in marketing of LaSalle Investment Management, its products and services and development of new business together with providing information and support to the existing clients and other parts of the business. The position also requires to understand analysis of real estate investment and execution of deals using real estate fund structure (부동산집합투자기구) by providing assistance to the wide range of functions from initial underwriting to closing transactions with a primary focus on Excel-based analysis of real estate acquisitions and reviewing due diligence materials on active investments.
Accountabilities:
Providing support to Client Capital Group
• Support the team to respond the requests from the clients for investment proposals which includes co-ordinating meetings, managing time schedules, producing presentation materials.
• Assist in marketing the business and funds especially to the Korea based clients including the creation and updating of PowerPoint presentations.
• Gather information on business development from the Global Client Capital Group and track current initiatives.
• Liaise with the Client Capital Group analysts in other locations regarding best practices, information processes, etc.
• Work closely with respective acquisition officers and the fund management team to evaluate and underwrite potential core, value-add, and opportunistic real estate acquisitions on behalf of the firm’s comingled funds and the separate account clients.
• Perform complex financial analyses, including the development of cash flow projections, operating pro formas, and valuation models to eventually prepare information memorandum for clients and LaSalle’s investment committee.
• Assist with managing the due diligence process, including the review and analysis of leases, property operating performance, legal documentation, and other investment-related information.
• Review and analyze investment offering materials, and gather and evaluate economic and market data.
• Liaise with the Global Real Estate Securities team.
Providing support to the Korea office
• Tracking and updating data needed for business on the funds, new initiatives, both the potential and the existing clients, and competitors.
• Completing minutes of all the meetings and conference calls.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance or a related field with a strong record of academic achievement.
• Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail.
• Highly-developed verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
• Fully computer literate in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently
• Team player
• Act ethically, and have a strong sense of integrity.
• Proactive thinking with a creative problem solving approach.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines under pressure
• Self-motivated and comfortable achieving maximum results with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good understanding of cultural differences across the regions
Preferred:
• Working experience as a commercial real estate analyst in acquisitions, asset management and/or investment sales but not mandatory
• Investment Management/Advisory qualification (투자운용사, 투자상담사: 증권 등)
