Job Summary & Responsibilities
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation.
Operations span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.
The Trading Operations team in Securities Operations is responsible for the monitoring and reconciliation of Equity and Fixed Income activity for trading desks.
Responsibilities
• Perform client on-boarding process for Foreign and Domestic client ranging from acct set-up in systems, execution of required documents, updating relevant account inventory lists, and preparing account status reports.
• Reconcile securities position balance for Prop and Agency between internal and external systems on a daily basis
• Prepare regulatory reports, such as, daily/monthly FSS regulatory reports, daily KRX Program Index Arbitrage report, and daily SBL KOFIA&FSS reports.
• Process Intermediary of Securities Lending and Borrowing from monitoring daily SBL emails, follow-up of corporate action, reconcile daily SBL transactions.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 years' experience in Korea Equity Operations
• Basic knowledge concerning Korea markets, securities products and regulations
• Fluency in written and spoken Korean is mandatory
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong understanding of risk and control requirements in Operations
• Ability to prioritize and balance issues and workload across the team and to manage and track multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
