Job Title: Trainee for MARK – Global Markets Division in SG CIB Seoul Office. Job will commence as soon as the successful candidate is identified.

SG opened a branch in 1983 through which it offers a full range of debt, advisory and corporate banking services. Dealing with the top local companies, its primary focus is structured financing, as well as market operations - Foreign Exchange or interest rates.

* Description of the Activity of the Team
 
SG MARK FIC & TRE Trading desk is responsible for KRW product pricing, local treasury activity within SOCIETE GENERALE, and management of  SG Seoul trading books.
The Trading desk provides prices support to local and regional Sales on a broad range of underlying such as FX derivatives, interest rate derivatives, Non Deliverable Forward, etc.
 
*   Principal assignment or reason for existence
 
Responsible for general support of the daily Trading activity.
 
*  Main responsibilities
 -  Booking deals under trader supervision and validation
- Deal/Blotter checking and report production
-  Risk reports production from iForce
- Run  Agrisk reports before the market opens (risk analysis to be reviewed by trader)
- Bond yield reporting
-  Report FX fwd position by trader and fwd liability amt which is based on the report to BOK
-  Report FX position and futures position after market close

*  Degree of autonomy
 
Supervised by manager depending on the tasks. After receiving training on all the major duties, the trainee is expected to become gradually independent and be able to perform numerous tasks alone rapidly.
 
 
 
*  Internal and/or external contacts
 
Internal: Trading Team, Middle & Back in Seoul, Singapore and HK. IT team in HK.
External: Brokers.

*Specific context of the position (environment, special features, etc.)
 -  Working with the trading team in the dealing room.
-  Fast pace environment

* Requirement (Qualification/ Years of Experience/ Skill / Knowledge)
 -  Able to work under pressure and deal with exposure to risk.
- Result oriented, determined and able to make dependent decision
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
- Fluent English + Korean and other language is a plus
- Financial instrument knowledge is a plus
