Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) is an affiliate of GS Group and one of the world’s leading asset management institutions.

 The Global Fixed Income Product Management Team within GSAM is focused on the strategic development, growth and positioning of our fixed income product offerings. The product management function is integrated with the portfolio management team and is focused on enabling distribution channels to win and retain fixed income clients through regular communications, strategy updates, and marketing initiatives. The product management team works closely with portfolio management to communicate product offerings, portfolio positioning, and current market environment to each distribution channel.


5. Responsibilities:

• Develop Product Knowledge - gain understanding of Fixed Income & Currency markets and develop product specialization:

Money Markets, Municipals, Credit, Emerging Market Debt, Currency, and Hedge Funds.

• Client Reporting - Take responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of client portfolio reviews and reports. Communicate

investment strategy and portfolio positioning on a regular basis to internal and external clients.

• Marketing: assist in the writing of market reviews, performance commentary and market outlook for all fixed income and currency

products, as well as updating of all marketing materials including bluebooks and strategy profiles.

• Sales Support: act as liaison between distribution channels and portfolio managers; assist in responding to queries from sales,

provide internal training opportunities

• Desk Support: assist portfolio managers on desk tasks, analysis and projects

• Business Development – Participate in the construction of marketing materials, new business pitches, and bespoke client studies.

Assist in preparation of Request for Proposals.

• Project Management – work on various team-related strategic projects (e.g., product development, campaign initiatives, IT

systems)

6. Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Analytical skills

• Enthusiasm for fixed income; prior Fixed Income experience is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented

• Fluency in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean is a plus

• CFA qualified would be preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word

• Team player with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
