Credit Suisse: HOLT Korea Sector Specialist (based in Hong Kong)
1. Job description:
HOLT, is part of the Credit Suiss Securities Research and Analytics Department, and offers one of the most advanced corporate performance, valuation, and strategic analysis frameworks. The HOLT platform provides an objective view of over 20,000 companies around the world, with customizable inputs that allow you to test your valuation assumptions.
As a HOLT Korea sector specialist, you will need to:
-prepare customized analysis requested by institutional clients
-Provide regular market commentaries on a broad spectrum of industries and companies
-Participate in major modeling improvement efforts to improve the valuaion framework
-Maintain the HOLT Korea company database, including the review of new annual/quarterly data
-Maintain the analysis and computation to transfrm accounting data to economic performance
2. Qualifications:
-Have at least one to two years of relevant experience
-Prior industry experience (e.g. valuation consulting,equity research, and/or public accounting) preferred
-A Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance
-Good understanding of Korean GAAP, K-IFRS and Korean financial statements
-Excellent English and Korean written and verbal skills
-Participation in the CPA, ACA or CFA program
-Good communicaion skills
-Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills
-Ability to work independently and as part fo a team
-Interest in the global financial markets
