Esprit, the GSK global MBA programme can put you on an accelerated track to leadership. And, there’s a lot more to the programme than you might expect. So how does it all work?
- You’ll spend four years on a fast-track development programme, working your way towards a senior country management team role
- Beginning in your home country, you will have a global assignment on every other rotation
- Through several challenging global secondments, you’ll gain exposure to high profile assignments
- Working in a number of overseas markets, you’ll develop a broad global business perspective, and significantly build on your commercial experience and existing knowledge
- Every step of the way we’ll provide you with focused development, training and support to help you achieve your greatest potential

The Esprit Programme is not for everyone. It’s for those of you who are comfortable balancing academic excellence with a genuine commercial acumen, all the while adding value to whatever the assignment might be. You’re able to bring a wealth of experience to GSK, but recognise that there’s still plenty for you to learn and appreciate in order to be a leader.
To be considered for the Esprit Programme, you’ll need:
- An MBA, and a passion for a new challenge
- A demonstrable track record of delivering significant value to enhance a business
- A strong and unwavering sense of commercial awareness
- Evidence of how you’ve made an impact through strategic decision-making
- The desire to develop a career in general management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Fluency in your native language (home country) along with English (written and spoken)
- Flexibility, adaptability and mobility
