Job Description

As a Senior Analyst at a boutique investment bank specializing in cross-border M&A advisory, you will play a central role in leading transaction execution and managing deal processes.

Working closely with senior professionals, you will take ownership of financial analysis, client presentations, and key deal workstreams across M&A and capital raising mandates. You will leverage your experience to contribute to the firm's M&A execution and capital raising capabilities while helping strengthen Locus Capital Partners' franchise and reputation in the marketplace. You will further develop strong technical and advisory skills while becoming a trusted client advisor capable of managing and executing transactions independently.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and asset valuations.
  • Prepare client presentation materials, including M&A and capital raising pitchbooks.
  • Prepare financial models and perform financial analysis of companies.
  • Monitor industries for market developments, valuation trends, and other relevant financial information.
  • Travel for client meetings, due diligence, and industry research.
  • Support transaction execution and project coordination, including client communications and coordination with external advisors and internal team members.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills.
  • Well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
  • Solid understanding of the transaction lifecycle with a strong execution mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and assume a high level of responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Prior experience in M&A advisory projects.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and valuation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting (CPA qualification or equivalent experience is a plus).
