Vacancy Notice for Position of PSP IG Assistant (Donor Retention)
UNHCR Representation in the Republic of Korea
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representation in the Republic of Korea is inviting applications a position of PSP IG Assistant (Donor Retention) in line with the long-term growth plan of the private sector fundraising program.
I. Summary of Position
The PSP IG Assistant (Donor Retention) will be responsible for developing and enhancing the donor stewardship program.
II. Duties and Responsibilities
The incumbent will perform the following duties:
- Assist in developing and executing detailed plans to enhance the donor journey, with a particular focus on donor engagement activities;
- Plan and implement a recognition program for donor anniversaries;
- Assist in developing and implementing middle-value donor retention and development program;
- Research and curate engaging content, including stories, photos, and videos, that resonate with the audience and support our fundraising goals;
- Craft compelling donor communication messages in Korean suitable for various channels, such as email, text messages, and direct mail;
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of communications to donors, responding promptly and professionally to their inquiries and requests;
- Coordinate with external vendors for project execution and manage administrative tasks related to procurement and payments;
- Perform other duties as required.
III. Required Qualifications
1. A university degree in preferably marketing, communications, business administration, or other related fields
2. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 1 year relevant working experience with a high school diploma
3. Experience in marketing communication, fundraising and/or customer relationship management (CRM) is preferred
5. Fluency in Korean and English (both written and spoken)
IV. Duration of Contract
Six-month probationary period with a possibility to extend the contract on a yearly basis depending upon her/his satisfactory performance.
V. Recruitment Schedule

2. Notification of selected candidates: Monday, 23 Sept 2024 (Mon) – 16 Sept 2024 (Fri)
3. Interview with tests: Monday, 30 Sept 2024 – Friday, 4 October 2024
* Interview will include test.
4. Announcement of final selection: Mid-October 2024
5. Scheduled first working date: End of October 2024
*The above recruitment schedule may be adjusted and if necessary, scheduled first working day may be negotiated for the selected candidate.
