Urgently Needed French Part-time Translator

Employment Type: Part-time
Location: Gongdeok-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
Salary: KRW 15,000/hour
Working time: Negotiable (20 to 39 hours per week; depends on type of education-language/degree
course)
* Official working hour at Hyosung: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 18:30
Term: Negotiable (those who can work for 3 months or longer are preferred)
Languages: English, French
The Role
Hyosung Power & Industrial Systems Performance Group is an international supplier of
comprehensive energy solutions for the transformer, switchgear, power system engineering, motor,
decelerator, industrial pump, and wind turbine system, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
Hyosung Power & Industrial Systems Performance Group offers an exciting opportunity for a French
speaker. As part of our Global Sales Team, you will be responsible for providing high quality French
(to English) translations such as tenders and documents required for pre-qualification registration.
Qualifications
• Native level fluency in French
• Excellent French to English translation skills
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/master’s/doctoral program or a Korean language course in
Korea (note: a successful candidate must have been enrolled in a Korean language course for at
least 6 months; not applied to degree program students)
• Electrical engineering background and translation experience is a plus.
