Job Description
 
  • Spearhead marketing and management new HDX premium category of Consumer Notebooks
  • Develop positioning and to champion APJ requirements with GBU roadmap within this new category - bringing APJ roadmap to the "next level"
  • Additional cycle resource for APJ Consumer Notebook business to plan each cycle initiaitves and requirements needed to support business targets
  • Collaborate with country teams on Emerging charter on Consumer Notebook to support and enable overall topline growth
  • Working closely with GBU teams to scope, define and develop suitable emerging product/geo expansion based on country requirements and balancing APJ's overall strategy
  • Continue and enhance operational excellence in NPI planning and detailed planning for execution
  • Effective and timely Marcom deliverables for each cycle for web site (online) and for retail
  • Guardian of costing on platforms and replacement vs market ASP erosion
 

 

 

your profile

  • Bachelor's (undergraduate)degree or Master's (graduate)degree in Business Administration, Marketing or non-business/technical field of study.
  • Demonstrated drive, confidence and risk taking
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade
  • Skills include: teamwork, interpersonal, IT tools usage, initiative, project management (PMI), creativity, leadership, communication, and excellent presentation skills
  • Experience and knowledge include: consulting, working closely with senior management, a broad range of marketing experience, familiar with product solutions, strong technical and sales understanding of consumer needs, broad knowledge of marketing and program implementation, knowledge of competitor's product offerings, knowledge of industry norms and opportunities, understanding of product life cycle, ability to evaluate market & negotiate business contracts, in depth knowledge of marketing elements (product pricing, promotion, and positioning)
  • Fluency in English and local languages. 
  • Detailed and thorough.
