ABOUT THE SPEAKER

 

James (Jim) Falteisek, Senior Vice President, 3M Asia Country Governance, Managing Director, 3M Korea

As the Senior Vice President of 3M Asia Country Governance, Jim leads the execution of many corporate priorities in Asia, including corporate brand and communications, government affairs, ethics and compliance, ESG efforts, and crisis management. Jim has the opportunity for hands-on local execution of these priorities in his dual role as Managing Director of 3M Korea. Prior to his appointment as the Senior VP of 3M Asia Country Governance, he was the Global Vice President of Commercialization for the Consumer Business Group at the 3M headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota. Jim started his career at 3M as an engineer 35 years ago and through his career has served various roles in R&D, sales, marketing, and business management. He was also the Managing Director of 3M Greece in the early 2000s. Through his abundant global experience in many different roles across the company, he has become well-versed in addressing multicultural, complex issues.
Jim received a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.

 

Gayle R. Schueller, Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, 3M

Dr. Gayle Schueller is 3M’s Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer. Gayle started in 3M’s corporate laboratory as a product development engineer and has over 29 years of technical and business leadership experience. Her career spans a broad range of businesses from electronics to healthcare to consumer industries. Gayle has led technical and business teams from around the world including Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America. Gayle’s previous assignments include Vice President of New Platforms for Growth and Commercialization, Managing Director for 3M Mexico, Vice President for Global Sustainability, and Vice President of Research & Development and Design for 3M’s Consumer and Office Business.
Gayle received a doctorate in Material Science from the University of Virginia and a bachelor of science in Physics from the State University of New York, Geneseo.

 

Jun Lee, Sustainability Leader for Asia, Ethic & Compliance Leader for Korea, 3M Korea

Mr. Jun Lee is 3M's Sustainability Leader for Asia. Jun also currently serves as an Ethic & Compliance Leader at 3M. Jun's previous assignments include PSD Division Manager, Scott Satefy Integration Manager in APAC, PSD Key Account Manager, and PSD Channel Sales Manager. Jun obtained a Master of Business Administration from Yonsei University and Bachelor of Metallurgical Engineering from Chonnam National University.
