Notice of Submission / Modification of English Name for MS/PhD Students Graduating in August

Students who are expected to graduate in August 2021 should submit / modify his or her name in English for the issuance of the English graduation certificate, according to the following guidelines.

■ The graduation certificate will be issued only in Korean for the expected graduates whose name in English is not found on their university records.

■ The graduation certificate (Korean, English) is issued only once (No additional issuance will be provided).

1. Target : MS/PhD students expected to graduate in August, 2021

2. Submission Period : ~ July 30th (Friday) 2021 16:00p.m.

 (※ Please make sure to keep the deadline as modifications will not be possible after the submission period.)

3. Verification of English Name: KU Portal to Information Depository (KUPID) → Registration/Graduation → University Registration → University Registration Inquiries → English Name

4. Application method: fill in ‘Student Record Change Form(enrolled student)’ and

Submit it to administration office of affiliated school (Seoul campus) / administration office of affiliated major department (Sejong campus).

*Student Record Change Form: *previous and changed name, student ID number, major, track, contact information, English name (same spelling as indicated in your passport) need to be written.
