Changsoo Heo (Business‘67), GS Group CEO donated 300 million won in scholarships.
In October 2018, Changsoo Heo (Business‘67), GS Group CEO donated 300 million won in scholarships for the development of Korea University Business University (Dean=Soo Young Kwon). Soo Young Kwon, KUBS Dean said the donation will be used for the ‘Namchon Scholarship’, a scholarship provided to foster talented people to contribute to national development.
Meanwhile, the Namchon Scholarship is a scholarship fund that Changsoo Heo, GS Group CEO, has steadily donated to KUBS in support of the late GS E&C honorary chairman Joonkoo Heo, who had shown interest in fostering talented young people. Namchon Foundation, which has been making donations since 2005, donated an additional 300 million won in 2018, surpassing 3.53 billion won in accumulated donations to date. About 10 students from KUBS are supported by the Namchon Scholarship each semester.
