I, Jae-Nam Lee, am a Professor of MIS and Associate Dean for Research and International Affairs at Korea University Business School in Seoul, Korea. Prior to joining the University, I worked for the Department of Information Systems at the City University of Hong Kong. I received Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in MIS from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).  

My research interests lie in the areas of IT outsourcing/offshoring, knowledge management, information security management, e-business, and IT deployment and effects on organizational performance. I was an ICIS Doctoral Consortium Fellow (1998). My published research articles appear in MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of MIS, Journal of the AIS, Communications of the AIS, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, European Journal of Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, and others.

I am currently serving the Pacific Asia Journal of the AIS and  Industrial Management & Data Systems as Senior Editor and Information & Management as Associate Editor. I was the AIS Region 3 (Asia Pacific) Representative, the Editor-in-Chief of Asia Pacific Journal of Information Systems, and Editorial Boards of MIS Quarterly (Associate Editor), Information Systems Research (Associate Editor), Journal of the AIS (Senior Editor), Communications of the AIS (Associate Editor) and so on. I also worked as a project manager and IT consultant for around 10 years in IT industry.
