KUBS Dean Soo Young Kwon, KUBS staff, and about 260 new students made their presence at the orientation, which was designed to introduce the curriculum and academic guidelines to students.
The orientation started off with a congratulatory speech by Dean Soo Young Kwon. “Many influential leaders from KUBS have been at the center of the Korean economy over the past 50-60 years,” Dean Kwon said. “I hope you all become pioneers leading Korea in the next 50-60 years.”
“The world is changing exponentially, and we cannot predict the future with the current method. Figure out what you really want to do and prepare for the future,” he added.
The orientation contained useful information about the university, such as △International Programs, △Undergraduate CDC Programs, △Scholarships, △Leave of Absence/Return to School and Graduation, △Curriculum, and △Course Registration. In the middle of the orientation, “Special Lecture on Finance” by Financial Supervisory Service and “Gender Equality on Campus” by Gender Equality Center were given.
