“The GMBA Program, a 1 or 1.5 year full-time program, consists of the MBA program and MIM program. Students will earn a Master’s degree from KUBS or a dual degree delivered by KUBS and the CEMS designation depending on their academic track. The GMBA courses are mostly offered in English. A few courses are offered in Korean as well.”

 Applicants without prior work experience can also apply for the MIM Program.
 
 
GMBA Features
 
 
MBA Program - KUBS GMBA Track (1 year curriculum)
  • To receive an MBA degree from Korea University Business School, students must complete at least 45 credit hours (cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher) from six modules during the one year coursework.
 
CEMS MIM Program (1.5 year curriculum)
  • The CEMS, founded in 1988, is a global alliance of leading business schools where only top business schools from 30 nations are chosen to be included in the CEMS community.
  • Students with the MIM track will study in the GMBA program at Korea University Business School in their first semester and then spend abroad at one of the 29 CEMS member schools in their second semester. As of now, a total of 72 multinational companies are in the CEMS Alliance. The students are mandatory to spend the internship abroad at one of the CEMS corporate partners for 10 weeks after completing their second semester at the CEMS designation.
  • Students who complete the GMBA Program at KUBS in their third semester and fulfilled all graduation requirements will receive two degrees simultaneously: MBA degree from KUBS and Master’s in International Management from CEMS. The CEMS MIM ranked 4th worldwide in the “2015 Masters in Management Rankings” by Financial Times.
  • CEMS MIM Admission Requirements: ① Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, economics, or related area, ② English proficiency requirements: 100 or higher in TOEFL iBT, 7.0 or higher in IELTS, or Bachelor's diploma from an English-speaking country.
 
MBA Program – Student Exchange Track (1.5 year curriculum)
  • Students with the Student Exchange Track will study abroad at one of the 30 partner schools for the additional semester after completing the GMBA program at KUBS for the first year.
 
MBA Program - Dual Degree Track (2 year curriculum)
  • Students with the Dual Degree Track will take required courses at ESCP Europe in France or ESB Business School in Germany for the additional year after completing the GMBA program at KUBS for the first year.
  • Students who fulfill all graduation requirements will receive two degrees simultaneously: MBA degree from KUBS and either Master in Management from ESCP Europe or Master Science in Management from EBS Business School. The ESCP Europe MIM and the EBS Business School MIM ranked 7th and 11th worldwide, respectively, in the “2015 Masters in Management Rankings” by Financial Times.
